PCLP160 Multipurpose or aging cellar 160 bottles

The PCLP160 offers storage for up to 160 bottles*. Very design, thanks to its black color and its large stainless steel handle, the Premium wine cellar PCLP160 adapts perfectly to your needs: versatile, it benefits from a double function which allows it to be sometimes an aging cellar with only one temperature zone, sometimes a service and conservation cellar with several temperature zones.

What exactly does it mean to be able to switch between single and multi-temperature cellars?

Climadiff multitemperature wine cellars are very well thought out: they offer different refrigeration conditions depending on whether the fan is activated or not.

• By activating the fan of the PCLP160, the wine cellar switches to stirred cooling and its temperature is distributed evenly inside your cellar. You benefit from a constant temperature of about 12/13°C in the whole cellar. Your cellar is then a cellar of ageing perfectly adapted to wines of guard.
• On the other hand, if you want to store red wine at the top of the cellar and bring white and rosé wine to temperature at the bottom, you need to deactivate the fan. You then switch to static cooling and obtain different temperature zones: 7 to 8°C difference generally observed between the top and the bottom of the cellar.

To summarize, the PCLP160 wine cellar can be used :

• either for wine ageing via the activation of the fan ;
• or for the temperature setting and the conservation of wine with different temperature zones.

What if I don't want to age wine?

For a versatile wine cellar that allows the conservation of wine without the intention of aging it for years, we recommend the same cellar as this one but with a glass door: the PCLP160.

Moreover, 2 wheels make it easy to move, and 2 adjustable feet allow you to adjust its level in case your floor is not quite straight.
